In August 2023, CAS acquired two rolling mills in Sweden from Outokumpu, expanding its rolling capacity and developing Nordic sales. In the same year, the company acquired UK-based Special Melted Products Ltd., a leading manufacturer of specialty steels and nickel-based superalloys used in critical applications for the aerospace, oil & gas, and civil nuclear industries. These acquisitions through CAS signify Walsin Lihwa’s entry into international supply chain for high-end specialty applications, which further strengthen its overall competitiveness and establish global leadership.
