Walsin Lihwa commences operation at new headquarters building on November 2nd

Walsin Lihwa announces today to commence operation at its new headquarters building at A6 area of Xinyi District, Taipei City. 

The new office accommodates the company¡¦s accounting, administration, financial management, human resources, information technology, and procurement departments as well as some business units. From the 24th floor to the 27th floor ¡V nearly three stories utilizing area ¡V are used by Walsin Lihwa, while the other floors of the building are for office leasing.

Construction of Xinyi headquarters building started in early 2006. The SRC building has 27 stories above the ground and five stories below the ground. The base area exceeds 7,200 square feet and the total floor area exceeds 86,400 square feet. The area available for lease is approx. 67,320 square feet. There are extra high standards for the building materials, design, and construction quality of this energy efficient, environmentally sound, secure, and smart green building, which also enjoys an extremely convenient location. To the east, it is adjacent to the Xinyi A8 Hall of Shinkong Mitsukoshi Departement Store and, to the north, President Enterprise Corporation Tower. To the west and south are respectively Taipei City Hall and Chinatrust Financial Building . There is also a sqaure adjacenty to a park belt featuring open space design to the south of building. Moreover, the exterior lighting of this new headquarters building is designed by J.K. Yao, a renowned lighting virtuoso in Taiwan, to enrich nearby urban landscpaes at night and make this building one of the most impressive architectures in Xinyi District.
