Taipei, February 17– A board meeting of Walsin Lihwa today approved the company’s 2016 financial statements. The meeting also decided to hold the 2017 general shareholders’ meeting at 09:00 a.m. on May 26 (Fri.), 2017, at multifunctional hall, 1st Floor, No. 15, 168 Lane, Xingshan Road, Neihu District, Taipei City.

The global economy was stable in 2016 and Walsin Lihwa also had a stable growth. The wire and cable business showed steady profitability, while the increased sales and gross profit at the stainless steel business benefited from an overall balance between supply and demand. The 2016 consolidated operating revenue is approx. NT$143.355 billion, with a consolidated gross profit of NT$9.56 billion. The net income after tax is approx. NT$4.5 billion with EPS of NT$1.33 and a cash dividend of NT$0.7 per share is planned.
