The revenue in the first three quarters this year is less than satisfactory because of the lower demand for LED and stainless steel products in Mainland China. Non-operating losses primarily resulted from reinvestment disposal, impairment of assets, equity method investment, and futures trading.
Walsin Lihwa Corporation, established in 1966, has been the leading manufacturer for copper wires and rods, power cables, and specialty steel in the greater China region.
